Accommodation
A number of rooms have been reserved at the Academic Activity Center of Academia Sinica for your stay. International scholars will receive accommodations for four nights, from May 20 (check-in) to May 24 (check-out), while Taiwan-based scholars will be offered accommodation for one night. The Secretariat will collect all the accommodation requests via email and assist with making the reservations.
In case that the Academic Activity Center is fully booked, we will arrange alternative accommodations at nearby hotels.」
A. Room Facilities:
・Wireless internet access.(personal laptop required)
・LCD TV, , news channel, movie channel and music channel
・Central air conditioning with adjustable thermostat
・Desk, desk lighting
・Wardrobe, clothes hanger
・Refrigerator
・Tea bags and electric kettle
・Hairdryer, towel, slippers
・Body wash and shampoo. We do not provide disposable toiletries (toothbrush, comb, razor, shower cap, soap and paper slippers), please bring them on your own.
B. Notes:
1. Daily room service with no tip.
2. Check-in time is after 14:00, Check-out time is before 12:00 noon. Breakfast included.
3. Public phones are available on the 1st and 2nd floor of the center; phone card is sold at the front desk.
4. Coin Laundry is available at the basement of the center.

6、The 6th floor of the Academic Activities Center is currently undergoing renovations. During the construction period, intermittent noise may occur. We regret any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.
7、The Academic Activities Center provides body wash and shampoo, but do not provide disposable toiletries (toothbrush, comb, razor, shower cap, soap and paper slippers), please bring them on your own.
8、Breakfast is NOT included in the accommodations at the Academic Activities Center. However, the Congress will provide breakfast at the venue for participants staying there.
＊ Currency exchange: Only US dollars and NT (New Taiwan) dollars are acceptable.
＊ Fax, copy services with a fee.
＊ Taxi arrangement.
C. Extension of stay
If you wish to extend your stay beyond the provided dates, please kindly make your own reservations with other hotels in the area.
